Gurudongmar 2.0
After Successful Completion of Gurudongmar in November 2018, some targets remained unachieved. So we had to load our bikes again and plan for Gurudongmar in different month.
GURUDONMAR 2.0 was an achievement for all riders who made to it. Admist continous rainfall and snowfall in Sikkim from Day 2. Till Day 5. , we never expected to make it to Gurudongmar.
Day1, due to late permits, and drama of sikkim govt, we could only reach Lachen completely drenched,as Army advised not to go beyond due to black ice.
Day2, we went to Thangu and had a snow filled day with continous snowfall and very cold night. Hiranya showed clear symptoms of AMS.
Day 3. We reached Gurudongmar, with my bike punctured at 15000 feet, Hiranya vomitting and almost getting unconscious at 17800 feet.
