Son Beel Wet Land | Karimganj
Taken at the Son Beel wet land Karimganj, Assam, it was a wonderful magical sunset and a perfect gift after the day long search. The rain from the previous days raised the water level and led to some amount of doubt about finding a nice spot. And apart from that, there was this strong wind that was causing waves bigger than that was normally expected. However, glad to find this little corner and had a real nice time shooting the setting sun.
The whole area was glowing from that golden shower of the setting sun and it was the kind of moment that inspires great songs and poetry. Anyway, just saw a post this morning on Facebook about recent findings caused by climate change and it made me ask how long this place would held it's magic? Really sad that this earth is dying....
Anyway, awesome place and worth a visit.
